Default oil cooler warning

Hi guys took the car for a spin today 2 miles away from home looked at the oil pressure gauge no oil pressure managed to get the car home thinking blown engine, to find out one of the oil cooler pipes had split (rubber) and pissed all the oil out, just hope it not fooked the engine

So any one with rubber cooler pipes be aware upgrade to Reinforce Stainless steel hoses

Oh dear. You'll soon know if it's run a bearing dry over the next few days/weeks I expect. Everything's crossed for you.

BTW do oil coolers typically take -10AN sized fittings/braided hose (if fitting braided hose)? Or is it -8AN (or even -6AN)?

Bad luck but why did they have rubber hoses in the first place
Was it a decent make kit?
