Question Water problem. I need help??

Hi there, i need your help.

i just notice that im loseing water through the over flow tank it's squirting out the pipe like a good'un

Ive phoned central subaru and daz seem's to think it's the head gasket's

Its a new engine from SMR and only coverd 4500miles since i chaged it over lost year.

Could anyone tell me if there's anythin else it could be as there's no normal sign's of head gasket failure, im a bit stumped

For starters we need more info/spec/mods of the vehicle

Could be anything from a fudged pressure cap on the header tank to a air-lock to the HG

I put the Z4 ecu on 2 week's ago and only realised the problem last week as i was giveing it some sport.
Now, it's boosting at 16psi ive been told that this is fine i don't now it's my first scoob'y

Is it possible for a leaking water pump to cause this problem?

Snap!

Woody I fell in the trap of buying a SMR engine and my HG failed after that sort of mileage too (after about a year for me). When Zen opened it up it was mis-matched miss-mash lol of block/heads from Impreza/Legacy, etc. They had 'hammered' the heads on and they'd fashioned 'head studs' from dowells and twine , or something!....

When I got mine, it was from a company trading under the moniker: MDKL. They're now Prestige Partz (last time I saw on eBay), and SMR (whoever they are) supplies them the 'engines'.

That's, presumably, why they keep trading under different reg'd trade names - get's around any liquidation/bankruptcy....
