SX fuel regulator

Default SX fuel regulator

Need help to fit a SX fuel regulator onto my 1993 wrx.I know where all the pipes go,all i need to know is what do i do next?

After pluming in the pipe work,do i start the car and then set the regulator to 3 bar?

yes with the vacuum pipe disconnected, then when reconnected it should read 2.7 bar if i remember correctly.

You don't have to start the car to check what pressure the fpr is set to when it's first fitted. The ignition primes the pump so you can check it first just by putting the ignition on & adjust to roughly what you want. The settings above are correct (3bar or 2.6/2.7 with vac pipe disconnected).

Then start the car & leave it to get warmed up to operating temp - then fine tune the fpr setting to exactly what you want.

Double check the pressure over the first couple of weeks. The diaphragm can loosen up and change the fuel pressure.
