Default JDM IC Auto switch

has anyone adapted a jdm switch with auto function to a sti with no auto on the button ? (gdb 2003-2004)
Is there any wiring difrences from switch to ecu?

Yes the ecu is different, exactly whats different I dont know but I doubt you can just wire one in on a eu sti

the ecu motherboard is identical, and i have jdm rom's to use , and i've used even the group N rom , but i don't have a wiring diagram to compare jdm to eudm, as you can use this switch for launch control, antilag...and without it you can only set them either on or of by writing to rom, so if anyone has a wiring diagram hellp would be greatly appreciated

you an get after market IC water controllers (seen a few guys on here with it)

that automatically sprays it at certain rpm.

not sure which one u'd need though but it might be an easier option

i need the oem switch to change in real time maps in ecu, and i wanted to see if there is diffrence in wiring loom at ecu soket on jdm model

The JDM's measure when to spray by temp, the eu ones dont, this is one of the critical area's, by rpm is useless really as if its freezing cold you dont need water and that will just use it.

yes i know that, and that 's why i use a jdm rom, i,m not so much intreste in watering intercooler but to switch maps and enable antilag with this switch

of course, and this car is a track day car, only travels on trailer on public roads
