battery lite on

Default battery lite on

battery lamp is on on the dash but the alternator is charging the battery and the fan belt is tight any idea,s what it can be???

Duff battery? or it could still be a duff alternator.

what voltage is your alternator putting out ?

alternator could be overcharging the battery hence the light. voltage regulator has gone

If battery is 100%, then, as above, surely it's the regulator, or diode pack, in the alternator gone, no?
