Default What MAF Can I Use?

Hi guys,

Ive got a 98UK Turbo 2000 currently fitted with a 80mm Purple 'F' MAF Sensor.

CEL Diagnostics is throwing a code 23 - Air Flow Metre, so looking to get a new MAF Sensor.

Is it a case of having to put another Purple Label MAF on or are there other alternatives? (ie Sti Orange 'E' MAF Sensor?)

If i can use a Orange Label MAF, am i right in saying they all come in 90mm form? I assume i can simply re-house it into a 80mm housing to fit my existing pipework?

Many Thanks for any info, kinda confusing the hell outta me right now,
Rage.

A Z32 MAF (from a Nissan 300ZX Z32 obviously) is the same patten, 80mm housing jobbie. Good for around 480bhp, like the 90mm v.3/4 orange label's power capability - I think. But don't know how you'd wire it up to a UK car's loom (if it's compatible at all?). But I believe a v.3/4 or a Z32 would need to be scaled... does that mean a remap???

But unless you intend on upping the power to beyond c.350, then I thnk a replacement OEM purple job should be just fine.
