hi guys, i just want to ask, has any1 purchased any downpipe and decated manifold frm ebay, as they seem to be fairly cheap, so i just want to no are they good quality and worth buying, or r they cheap quality and gona split after booting your car hard.

Simple, you get what you pay for

Lots of stories of cheap ebay manifolds with cracked welds and leaking joints etc.

I bought a cat replacement pipe. And it melted. Bought the hayward and scott one which now works a treat.

not all ebay manifolds are rubbish,you just need to know what you are looking for before you buy.there are some good quality ones advertised on ebay but just be carefull as they might look like a bargain untill british customs bang there charges ontop as they do with a lot of things coming in from other countries.

If buying from E Bay have a look at the seller's rating. A high number of sales and a 100% rating are a good sign. Also read the feedback from the buyers relating to the items your are interested in.
