Default Problem with My T25

Some help please

My 05 T25 is massively overboosting (according to Defi) when I plant my foot, this is met by fairly violent juddering. Yet everything is OK if i slowly feed the power in.

Any ideas?

on the turbo check the vacuum pipe with the pill in it. clean that out first and make sure no oil in it. then maybe check your boost solinoid for oil and clean that.

there is a thread somewhere for clean the solinoid

oh yeah and the cold maybe causeing you a problem as well. forgot that

with the temperature the air is so cold. that its more dense and in turn the engine gets more and this could cause over boost. but not that i have experienced it in -6- -10 but who knows.

i would do what i suggested as well just as a good measure

you lucky bugger but i would like to know if the engine went bang or you just decided to upgrade it ?

also i had a similar issue with mine b4 i sold it, it was not boosting to 1.3bar it was hold ing at 0.7 so after some testing the guys well ian found out it was the boost solenoid the restricter pill ahd given up so the replaced the 2bar sensor with a new 3bar and it was happy days from then on.

might be worth taking a trip to see them and let them plug it in the laptop and work out waht is going on

I had the rebuild because the original engine was running poorly due to a worn piston. Basically causing a huge loss of compression.

Cheers
