Default Powdercoating I.C

Has any-1 powder-coated a STI intercooler before or would this adversly affect the cooling abilities.

I wouldn't do this as any coating can reduce the cooling, but powder coating is far thicker than paint, then it is baked as well. also a chance of getting contamination inside. I would just polish the intercooler instead.

the cooling ability is my only fear as i can guarantee i wont get powder inside the ic.
I could powder the ic but leave the fins as is but unsure as to how it would look...was going black.

My ic is already polished but wanted something different..........

Powder coating will affect the cooling of the core.

You could coat the end tanks safely enough though.
