Default Thoughts on this one please- Engine

Stripping the front of my car currently as it's a write off, and after taking out the rad, I noticed the left side of the cam casing was cracked and underneath what appears to be broken plastic pulleys. [pictured]
How can I check what other damage is done if any?

Thanks.

The engine will be coming out providing parts from it are salvageable but I won't be stripping it down or removing the heads.
What's it worth in it's current state.

TBH, it's not worth a great deal if it has bent valves. - Ideally big-end shells need replacing after this type of failiure, as when the piston hits valves, it tends to 'squash' the shells, and more than likely causing a bottom end failiure in the not too distant future.
