Bleep on start up

Had a bleep sound when I have started the car up a couple of times now. Dont now if its a low key battery warning or something. Anyone any ideas? The car is 03 Sti.

It is the battery. Mine does the same as the battery is on the way out.

same here, does it on first start when temp is very low, so new battery time soon I think.

Just to be clear thats the car battery on its way out not the one in the fob

Yep, definitely the car battery.
My previous 05 STi Type UK had this problem!
5 new batteries in 18 months under warranty & couldn't wait to get rid of it.

No issues with MY07 RB320 since new, thankfully!!!!

mine did this as i only drove it at the weekends i didnt get a new battery i simply drove the car (still only at weekends)with the sidelights on
subaru's have smartcharge dont they
