i dont think so, I have tubular headers on, they sit about same place as the standard ones did.

I didn't. My 03 WRX has ceramic coated manifold and i have always left it on. Look at it this way, it stops any water or debris splashing up also. I prefer it as with a car that sits lower down, it takes the 'hit' before anything else does.

As above mine are fitted and fully wrapped, they rub a little on the sound deadening fitted to the under tray but the pros of the tray out weigh this by miles.

Fair enough, just thought as no heat shield on exhaust it would melt the sound deadening, next question what one to go for, how much differnce does it make, already have prodrive no cat back exhaust, induction kit, had it at western performance when i first bought it, running average 320bhp with a peak of 340bhp of some of the runs.

and once again, anybody got a FMIC, any difference??

thanks for all the replies,

warms

Mark
