Default A quick question about eeprom chip

Hi, i have opened my ecu and have noticed that i have a eeprom chip fited. i belive it has diferent mapping,

i have a hks induction kit and exhaust system, no decat downpipe etc.

my car seems realy agresive for a standard car.

so my question is, if i add extras such as downpipe, uprated fuel pump, 440cc injectors, decated manifold, is it possible to remap the same eeprom chip i have fitted already.

if so who does it and how much, im in North West.

Cheers guys, realy apriciate the help

Ok, now we know what we talking about

The chips are not re-programmable AFAIK. The map on the chip can however be read and compared, there are people on here that can help you out with this

I run a Polar Performance chip and have done for nearly 2 years now, basically its set up for the decat and panel filter, it also adjusts fuelling for uk nul. I think if you change injectors it may upset it. You would need to go the ESL route at least

you can erase and reprogram the 27c1028 chip the only one which cant be erased and reprogrammed is the zero sports chip/miniature daughter board.

not sure really maybe they thought it was cheaper to do it this way, it actually looks like a chip but isn't, here is the same thing for reference.
