Fuel rail differences v3/4 compared to v5/6?
Hi.Would like to know the differences apart from style of side feed injectors between phase 1.5- v3/4 inlet manifold and the phase 2 -v5/6 inlet manifold.For example,could a fuel rail meant for a phase 2 manifold be fitted to a phase 1.5?Thanks

Here's my Phase 1.5 manifold and fuel rails;
Not too sure on the difference apart from the style/fitment of the injectors.
Here's the V5/V6 Fuel rails;

3/4's bolt pattern is in-line... 5/6's staggered offset. Also I think the 5/6 is shorter (across the engine) so the bolts holes wouldn't 'reach', even if they were the same pattern.
You don't need to use the 5/6 rails on the 3/4 manifold (if indeed they actually fit?). You simply buy the Carl Davey fitting kit (c.30 quid) to fit ph.2 injectors into ph.1/1.5 rails...
Rather pervervesly, fitting ph.2 inj. (with that kit) into ph.1/1.5 rails is actually easier than fitting the 'correct' ph.1/1.5 inj.!!
