Should there be much play in the wiper arms?
Heres the problem.
If I wipe - then every is normal.
If I'm moving at a reasonable sort of speed or enough which just pushed the arm up a bit too far it appears that the wiper then hits the trim on the drivers side at the top of the wipe.
This has only started happening since I had a windscreen replaced in the last week or so.
And I only noticed it yesterday as its been relatively dry over here and I haven't needed to use them
Thanks,
Shaun
PS I'm going to call Autoglass shortly, but just wanted to have some decent information incase the ******* try to fob me off.

The clue is that you've had a new screen, so THEY have had the wiper arms off.
You can cure it yourself by removing the offending wiper arm and resetting it one spline further round in whichever direction it needs to be: in your case, clockwise seen from the front.
DO mark original position with a piece of masking tape etc BEFORE removal, or it's hard to see where it came from

Cheers,
I'm just back from Autoglass - explained problem, and bloke immediately said It looks a wee bit high.
Pops bonnet, takes cap off and loosens nut, moves it and tightens
Gets me to try - I explain that its only from what I assume wind resistance moving it a tad further.
At least I know how to move it myself now.
Oh, and when you say mark with masking tape - do you mean stick a bit on the windscreen to mark the resting position?
