Just fitted a standard airbox and ditched the K+N 57i. Thought this would cure the problem. Seems to pop on over run and just after releasing the trottle after slight boost. Would resetting the ECU help? Never been mapped for the K+N.

 

Have u got a vta dump valve? Decat?

 

Standard dump valve and Cat back.

 

Reset would not hurt. Mine pops less since fitting OE airbox but still does, thats down to my forge vta dump valve though.

Pops and bangs are nothing to worry about on over run and gear change, peeps often pay to have them mapped in

 

Standard air box. No vta. Full stainless exhaust with 100 cell sports cat. My pops like a good`un on lift off.
