Default Clutch choice! My head is in a spin

Please for the love of god help

I need a clutch that will handle at most 450lbft TQ

I will be running a 20g with 20% E85 so im hoping for 400/430ish

Im after a clutch now as my standard unit wont handle it

Now then. Ive been told to have a look at the ACT range in the states

ive typed it in and its come back with various ones. one is rated to 512lbft for $449 then there is one rated less for $500+

impreza act clutch, great deals on eBay Motors on eBay!

confused.

someone on scoobynet has an AP racing organic for sale for v good price but i dont know if this is beefy enough

Spoke to my resident gearbox expert earlier and he can get some good prices on exedy

think im right in remembering the single plate including flywheel was £650?

Was hoping to get my PPG fitted this weekend but i think i need to choose the right clutch now to save hassle later

cheers lads in advance on this. I know its a common question but there seems to be a gap in market for the 450lbft tq range

I'm using an AP group A clutch, but used an AP organic before that without issue. I wouldn't use anyone else for clutches myself.

Around 450, but not the amount of torque you have. Somewhere around 400 I think.

Speak to AP, they will give you the spec and tollerance.

Speaking to David in the week. Although ACT clutches from the states are slightly cheaper they dont have a UK HQ and its worrying if they break i have to go back to states
