Unhappy Help, Got a leak

Noticed my boot carpet was wet on sunday, so removed everything including spare wheel and found about 2 inches of water in the wheel well.
Managed to get it all out but theres more in again today. Through experience are there any common places that the water could be getting in or is it trial and error? Also there is a lot of condensation on the inside of the bootlid. Any help will be gratefully recieved.

Classics do suffer from this.
Remove the rear lights, (5 nuts), and then pull hard. The sealant goes hard and dirty, especially across the top.

Remove old sealant and reseal with Carafax grey. DO NOT use silicone.

Rear lights, rear windscreen seal, panel seams around the boot, number plate light wiring grommets, and check also that all the rubber blanking plugs on the rear panel are still in place.

Take the boot liner out and you'll make the detectivework a lot easier.

Do not remove the rear lights until you've ruled other things out. You'll kick yourself if you go to all that hassle only to find the source is a loose bung that just needs pushing back in.

Also - if you have a UK car (and can thus drop the back seat), it's worth getting in there with a torch and shutting the lid.

Thanks Alcazar, i`ll need to get onto this when the rain stops, if it ever does, lol. Seems to be one thing after another at the moment.

Have the same problem, went to put a foot pump in the spare wheel and found a good 4 inches of water in there. Is coming from the passengers side, so i shall be investigating tomorrow the cause of the leak.
