Default JDM Bugeye`s - Help please

Hi , I have V7 jdm sti and need a new windscreen but mine seems to have a aerial built in there are wires to it etc,

One company claim its been built with no audio then its been added later as a option in japan does this sound right ?
Does any other jdm bugeyes have the aerial built in the front screen or could this have been for something else ?

Is this how they are ?
any info if you have the same or had a screen replaced on your bugeye etc please.

Hi Mate - I always thought the aerial was built into the rear screen, mine has an aerial type filament made up of what look like C's and oblongs running across the top of my windscreen - but was told that it was to do with the "Tracker" thats fitted....................HTH

Hi, cheers for that I also thought it was in the rear window, Ive found the tracker and its not connected to that, I can see a few hours of tracing the wires back coming on,
Can you use this type of aerial for a TV maybe ?

My old UK had a tracker - no screen wires, but the previous owner told me it was for a tracker "Monitor" system - not sure how it works - something to do with sattelites ?? maybe.........
