Default No sound from Radio/CD Player

There is no sound coming from the standard Radio/CD Player coming from my 2005 WRX STI Impreza. The unit and all its functions all are working, just no sound? Could this be a fuse or is it more likely a wiring problem? Where is the fuse located for the radio?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Seeing as there's still power to the display etc. then a speaker issue probably. Is the speaker wiring circuit is separately fused? If so, try finding out where that fuse is....

Speaker transistors blown maybe?

In the Classic, there's a fuse box by the accelerator attached to the 'wing', and the "radio/centre consul" fuse is in there. Not sure about a 2005 car though

I found the interior fuse box just to right and below the steering wheel, behind the alarm keypad. But the fuse for the radio/audio (No. 9 fuse) is fine. So i took the radio out as I couldn't remember if there was a fuse in the back of it or not but there isn't.

Someone else has suched the transistor to me so that's a possibility with the radio. Otherwise I guess I just have to test the speakers somehow?

Thanks.

I'd get a mates' head unit temporarily swapped over, to see whether it's a HU issue, or car's loom issue.......

Problem turned out to be the connection between the wiring and the speakers themselves in the front doors.

However the speakers in the rear doors still aren't working and all the wiring to them seems fine. Are they powered down one particular side as I only checked the passenger side? Or does anyone else know why the front might be working but not the rears?

Thanks.
