Default Intercooler inlet pipe keeps popping off

On me 2006 STi. The jubilee clip looks a bit weak. Does anyone recommend either a new clip or a whole new hose?
Thanks Peter

Clean it up and a spray with hairspray should do it, or carpet tack....

Did the same when I swapped to a 20g from the VF43. In the end I bought a 90 deg SFS bend and cut to size and its never moved since.

Try these, they apply even pressure all the way around. Got them fitted to all my FMIC pipes and never had a problem:

Many thanks - I think I am being stupid - I should just change the clamp. I will definitely look into this.
Do you know what size it is that I need? 65mm?

You'll probably be able to fix it just by cleaning the turbo outlet spigot and the inside of the red elbow with brake cleaner (to get the oil off them), and then, as Dunx says, using hairspray as an evaporative lube when you put them back together.

Will second Anders' recommendation for the Murray clamps tho. Expensive but worth it. And yes - 65mm, sure I have the 50-73 on mine.
