Default ADVISE ON FIRST MODS.........

...just wondered what you guys would say about this, I want to do a few things to my new 05 blobeye wrx.
What would be the first thing, performance or styling.
I already have 18* black Redline alloys.
I dont want to go too overboard just want a nice sounding exhaust better performance and better looks, I do like the sound of BOV but does this damage the turbo?
As you can tell I`m not that mechanically minded.
Thanks in Advance.

either a decat or sports cats, panel filter and a remap will be your first steps as far as power goes, other options are brakes and suspension

Performance wise, I would change the exhaust for one of the Revolution cat-back systems, with or without a decat downpipe. A panel filter & an ECUTEK remap - that lot should see a healthy increase in performance, probably 280bhp (depending on the turbo fitted to your car, probably a TD04)

Styling is down to personal choice, you could go for some of the STI styling parts, foglamp covers, bigger spoiler etc.
