Default Bad MPG

Hi all, is a dodgy adle speed control valve enough to knock the average mpg by 10 mpg or wud it be somehting else? if so any ideas? thanks

yeah i do 50 miles each day and getting 20 mpg (from a non turbo though) wud have expected 30ish?

wouldnt think your gonna get 30mpg anyway poss 25

What state is the air filter in if it is grotty then it will restrict the airflow. Thus slightly more throttle and the ECU pumps in more fuel hence low MPG. Just a suggestion

Replaced 200 miles or so ago, no real difference...just had an emissions test and no abnormal waste petrol out exhaust either...makes me even more gutted becuase im not even getting a turbos power for the same if not lower MPG!!

haha getting to realising it just gutted that the advantage of a non turbo isnt actually an advantage atm lol
