Default Draining fuel tank

Hi

My WRX has old fuel in it (about 2 years old). What's the easiest way to drain the tank?

Cheers

Sorry TB - in a silly mood.

Does the underside of the main and reserve not have drain plugs fitted, at all?

You may have to do an initial syphon with your mouth to get it started! (not pleasant ...)

If you remove the fuel pump you'll see the inside of the tank like this:

Easy to make sure it's chean then!

depends on how much is in the tank, another idea is to bridge the fuel pump and use it to pump the fuel out until the tanks almost empty, then syphon the rest. Using the fuel pump would be alot quicker to start if the tanks say half full.
