WIPERS HITTING WINDSCREEN TRIM!!!
I'm hoping someone out there might be able to help me out! I had my windscreen replaced about 5 weeks ago and ever since the windscreen wipers have been hitting the black plastic at the bottom of the screen!
I've also noticed that there seems to be alot of play on the wipers themselves (can move them by hand about 3") should there be as much as this?
I've also tried adjusting the wipers by loosening the nut off and moving them a bit but, either the passenger's side hits the trim or the driver's side one comes of the screen and on to the body work!
Any ideas??

The wiper arms are fitted on splines at the place where the nut goes. Best way to fit them is to look at where they catch the bodywork, stop them there, (by turning off the IGNITION, not the wipers, or they will just park), and then loosen the nut, pull the arm RIGHT off the splines and refit so it doesn't touch the trim.
Retighten nut.
If you have been loosening the nut and twisting the arm, you may already have damaged the splines;(
You can sometimes get away by wrapping the splines ONCE in aluminium foil and then putting the arm back on, but if the splines are shot, it will be new arms or a new wiper linkage, depending on which bit has gone..hopefully the arms, since they are cheaper and easier to replace
