HI I HAVE A STI V3 WHICH HAS DEVELOPED A MISFIRE ON IDLE ALONG WITH BOOST BEING RESTRICTED. FURTHERMORE I HAVE A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF BLUE SMOKE OUT THE EXHAUST. I HAVE REMOVED THE INTERCOOLER WHICH IS COMPLETELY DRY OF ANY OIL WHICH LEADS ME TO BELIEVE THAT THE TURBO IS OK HOWEVER I AM A NOVICE SO ANY IDEAS WOULD BE HELPFUL. THANKS IN ADVANCE. PS I HAVE JUST CHANGED ALL THE BOOST TURBO LINES I DON'T KNOW IF THIS HAS HAD ANY EFFECT.

 

Idle control valve possibly mate or throttle position sensor, lambda probe or maybe a damaged injector or even the airflow sensor if the throttle response is slow and it holds back just some ideas for you to have a think with hope this helps.
