Default Which turbo?

Hi, I currently have a uk turbo, 1997, with TDo4 remapped to 265/270, I'm looking to take it up to , if possible with the top mount, around 300 brake, I have got 440cc injectors waiting, will be getting ported headers, just wondering though, which turbo to go for, a TD05 or some sort of VF, I would like something that spools fairly quickly, but also pulls for a long time, what do people recommend? I won't be taking this car much past 300, so not worried about future power.
Thanks

I'm in a sinilar situation (2002 WRX) I'm torn between VF34 (330 BHP seems the average) and the TD05-18g (up to 380 but realistically 350).

VF34 should spool up quicker but the TD05 will be close but with better and longer power. I've also considered the MD series from Lateral but I think they may be overkill for my needs. I think Andy Forest has the best advise, go for the smallest turbo you can to get the power you want.

VF35 will get you to that target with good spool up. VF34 will be slightly laggier.

VF43 or even a Vf30 is a good alternative too.

i second the vf35, brilliant turbo and spools up just as quick as a TD04
