GRUPPE S CLASSIC HEADERS ???
Subaru impreza sti gruppe s stainless manifold on eBay (end time 04-Oct-09 20:04:23 BST)
Are the above headers any good on a 2.0L running 350-400bhp? Or are they 'overkill'? Will I lose spool with these (i'd be teaming them with a performance slip-jointed up-pipe of not too large diameter, to accelerate exhaust gases though).
Will they help the engine breathe, so as to aid in obtaining the 350-400 more 'effortlessly' than with the OEM headers (with all appropriate supp. mods/turbo, naturally)?
Any info/feedback greatfully received, thanks.

running that sort of power your deffinatly going to see the benefits of tubular headers jozzy. youl probably loose a tad of spool but gain a shed load of torques...
would you have them ceramic coated?

Cheers wrighty.
Well, as you can see, they're heat-wrapped at the mo. And it all looks tight and well applied - so I prob. wont get them coated (as the process will cost more than the headers, etc. - you have to draw the line somewhere, lol).
As I said, the performance up-pipe should offset any lost spool so, hopefully, the spool times will remain status quo, or as near as makes no difference(?)...
Anyone else have feedback on these?
