Mods and fuel economy
My car covers roughly 250 miles a week as I use it for work but I'm toying with the idea of some light mods. It's a hawkeye WRX and I average roughly 20 mpg currently.
What would be the effect on economy if I decat, full exhaust and remaped? I know there is a trade off with power and fuel but I don't want to be dropping to a 15mpg average.

Good news, driven at a steady rate you should see no noticeable difference, maybe even an improvement. A bit of right foot action will see consumption drop a little, however, at 70 on the motorway it should be no worse.
