hi
Is the bottom end the same in the 99-00 turbo as the pre 98 or the same as the bug wrx , as not to sure what power to push out of the standard internals
cus dont they say the bug wrx bottom end is stronger. currently running 270/270 on td04 but with a bigger turbo not sure what i could get , What are you guys running on standard internals. plus does anyone no if the 354 box in the 99/00 is any stronger than the 352 box in the earlier models.

754 99-00 box is stronger than the 752. Reliability improved again in the bug/blob boxes.
Don't know who "they" are, but the EJ205 engine in the phase 2 classics was basically carried forward into the newage cars - new intake manifold and MY03 revisions notwithstanding. Plenty of folk have these up into the 350 and more area.

754 99-00 box is stronger than the 752. Reliability improved again in the bug/blob boxes.
Don't know who "they" are, but the EJ205 engine in the phase 2 classics was basically carried forward into the newage cars - new intake manifold and MY03 revisions notwithstanding. Plenty of folk have these up into the 350 and more area.

sorry 754 not 354 i thought it something like that, thats why i like asking these questions as someone always puts you right.
