i have a cat bk on it....

i want sum little gain...so if i get both cats decated wud this cause a lite to go on dash??? wud it make it go in limb mode???

also wud a air filter make a diff? of so what make?

replace up pipe,fit sports cat downpipe(for mot)panel filter in original airbox and re-map.ive done this and ive been told to look at about 270/280 bhp on uk wrx bug-eye.you can buy a electronic device to fool the cel or have the mapper by-pass it.

 

mines got ppp so shud be 240bhp nw. so ive been told if i get a up pipe and a 2nd decat and decent panel filter then shud see 270-280bhp....

just wundered if it bought i lite on the dash

 

as above get it mapped using open source, to save a few £££ and you will have a nice and quick drivable car

 

i shudnt need to get mine mapped tho surly if mine as the ppp now. if i just get the decats it shud add mre bhp rite?

 

from what i gather ppp`s don't like mods especially decats, as they are "mapped" anyway they will be mapped to the standard ppp spec as soon as you start messing with decats ETC ETC you will push the safe boundaries of the ppp map, and could end up with problems, but it is only my opinion

 

am new to scoobys and the site....i have read sum previous post's luks like ur rite, they dont like decat's etc. so luks like i leave it as it is lol...cnt be doin with lights,problems etc..just wanted bit mre power without spending a great deal...
