hi mate!
very good tyres! lot of grip on dry, very good directionnal feeling; very good on wet, would let you slide with both 4 wheels but quick recovery when flooring !
personnally it's my 3rd set of t1-r...as every day car it's the best compromise, for track i'll go for the r1-r or r888.
hope this help
cheers

I'm on my first set, I have previously spent hundreds on Michelin Primacy's. The T1R's are so much better and a bargain price from Camskill etc. As above highly recommended!

I mostly use camskill who are currently selling Vreddy's for £88.40 or T1R's for £83. You get a lot more than £20's worth of extra tyre for choosing Vreddy's over the T1R's. I like both, but with both tyres in front of me I would pick up the Vreddy's everytime

I've had both T1s & T1r and although the T1R's were a improvement over the S's i find the Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta to be a much better tyre, both on turn in and overall grip.
And as Stu say's via Camskill they are also cheaper. I got 235/40/18s for under £400 for a set of 4

They are a budget tyre, so treat them as such. Nothing basically wrong with them, but I have seen the light recently with my car and will certainly be getting a better tyre for the road in future.
I find they do wear well, but the grip is not very good in the dry compared to superior brands. Great wet tyre though imo.

I wouldnt recommend 235/40r18's mate... if anything and you wanted 235, you would need 235/35r18 but they'd cost a bomb!
You need 225/40r18.
Check out this nifty tyre size calculator TYRESAVE: Tyre Size Calculator
If you enter 215/45r17 which is the recommended size for Scoobys and you change the size to 18's, you'll see that 235/40r18 is outside their recommendation!
As for T1r tyres, I love em and for the price you cant go wrong... unless you drive like a nutta then I'd say go for a more expensive bit of rubber, but general fast road use the T1r's do a cracking job
