You just need to relieve the holes slightly... once offered up it's easy to see where some metal needs removing.

A one bleeding knuckle rating from me !

Seriously it's just a case of running a slightly larger diameter drill through it.... honest.

I used a hand drill and a vice, no cunning engineering needed.

Cheers Mate,
I,m happy with that ,I am more curious than anything . I am buying the turbo in the next week or so and Mark from lateral was telling me what needs to be done and to be honest i dont even know what one looks like ,the oil drain that is.
I know i will suss it out straight away I'm just gettin impatient trying to mentally do the swap beforehand. A bit sad maybe.

It's a bit of tube with a flat oval flange, with a small hole either side.... and the holes ain't quite far enough apart, or the correct diameter.....

LOL

No, just loosen the clamp on the turbo inlet, but I did when I fitted the silicon intake pipe... that was a b*gg*r to get in.

Did you have to put new gaskets on the intake manifold after fitting the silicone pipe

Just bolted it back down, no damage to the gaskets and no sign of oem "goo" anywhere.
