Default AVCS/VVT

May sound like a very odd question to ask but hoping i cant find what i'm looking for...

When going for a remap, is the VVT automaitcally control via the ECU for optimum settings or does it have to controlled by the mapper for the best gains?

you need an ecu that supports it, then your probably best asking your mapper...

As long as it's working on the day, don't worry, IIRC there was some "talk" about certain people using their knowledge of mapping the Group N rally cars having a trick or two up their sleeves....
