If you've ever felt the weight of a stock pulley, that should give you a pretty good idea of whether it'll make a difference

There will be a difference, but as to whether you will notice it... I think not

the more weight you lose the more torque you lose.
and torque is what you feel.

How do you lose torque from your engine by reducing weight?

I read somewhere that lighter pulleys is similar to loosing 100lb of weight from the car because there is less inertia and the engine revs a little quicker? No idea if its right but im a sucker for a bolt on mod!!!

Very interesting, but it doesn't reduce torque the more weight you lose from a car. I'm also not running a BMW engine in my scooby as per the article. I know you will say the principle applies all the same, but, I'm pretty happy that the people that work on my car are among the best around so I'll stick with the lightweight version I have.

The pullies do allow for faster reving, but not that much. You need to do them in conjunction with other mods. But, when you get to the level that you are adding lightweight pullies and searching for more and more then you have to accept that you aren't going to have a 100,000 mile engine without a strip down. Having said that, my standard engine is quite happy running big power all day long with no issues at all.
