Well really you should be looking at upgrading to something like Mahle pistons which are a tad better than the standard subaru items
How much power are you aiming for?
Oh and its either a UK new age crank or a JDM twin scroll crank, no such thing as a version 9 crank, and there are differences between the UK and JDM ones (like the JDM one is grooved/nitrated, the uk cars dont get that )

i am going for top end of 400 bhp, this is the crank i have item 350240600543 on ebay, is it ok with it being a twin scroll crank on a normal single scroll turbo?

Yup its just uprated to give better oil flow to the bearings but is only fitted to the twin scroll cars (japs keep the best for themselves ), will be adding one of those to my version 5 at some time but wouldnt want to run classic sti pistons at the top end of 400bhp though would go for the mahle ones, they about 700 quid on ebay? (probably the same place you purchased the crank from )
