Question Occasional cut-out at idle even with new MAF?

Any ideas peeps?

Doesn't happen all the time, but i'm now conscious of the revs at idle where i'd never given it a second thought, and i hate having to do that.

The car is running really well otherwise, and i've fitted a replacement MAF, reset it etc to rule that out, but the symptoms persist. Could it be something mechanical like the throttle cable needing a quick blast of WD-40 or such like? Cheers for any suggestions.

do you have a dv fitted? as with some dv's they release too much air and this causes the car to stall. may need to check it and give it a refurb

Nope nothing like that at all, standard air intake/outlets apart from ipg panel filter, which i checked was clear etc.
