Default ignition barrel trouble

my girlfriend recently bought a R reg subaru impreza 2.0 sport non turbo uk model. she has only just got it on the road due to insurance.

There is a problem with the ignition barrel that is making it extremely hard to remove the key and is become a complete pain, just wondering if its a common thing? and if its easy and not to expensive to get a new ignition barrel and where from?

also she recently had a new clutch put in it and after getting it back it has really bad clutch judder when she pulls away or reverses. any ideas?

Thanks in advance.
