I care to remember that Paul @Zen did say that it is quite restrictive...
Because the TD05 16g will only make c.350 max, then I don't think it's restrictive enough to make it a wothwhile mod i.e the top-entry won't struggle to get to 350...
It prob will give a bit more free unmapped bhp if done... BUT... ideally you'd best have a remap to be on the safe side, in which case the above would apply anyway, if you see what I'm getting at.

A professional machine shop will be able to angle-grind it off.
They may also have to weld a short length of 58-60mm OD (I think that's the correct dia.?
) collar back on, to accept the intake hose.
