1995 could be MY95 or MY96 and for a JDM WRX (and WRX Type RA) this would mean 260PS/256bhp for the saloon... or 211PS/208bhp for a UK Turbo 2000 AWD car, as mentioned.
Post the VIN plate's 7-digit 'Applied Model' code - then we'll be able to tell you all this for certain...
Oh, and the UK Turbo 2000 AWD was lauched in March 1994 at the Geneva Motorshow. Initially, the first ones went on sale in the same week in the UK and Switzeland only. So the first UK cars are MY94 - compared to the JDM's MY93 (launched Nov 92).

If you have no documentation that thsoe mods/upped boost have been properly remapped/set-up, then I'd defo get your AFRs checked on a rolling road...... Otherwise you might not have an engine to speak of in a few days/weeks/months time!
(FTR, the std UK pre-MY99/00 boost level is only c.0.7bar (I think)).

Yeah, the DD is a rudimentary bleed valve that bypasses the OEM boost control system - and the ECU's control of it - and is plumbed directly between the compressor nozzle outlet's bleed nipple and the wastegate actuator's inlet nipple.
It is set to bleed away a pre-set amount (adjustable) of air away from the wastegate actuator. This means that, effectively, more boost (greater air pressure) is required to overcome the w/g's spring tension to allow the flap to open and dump the boost into the downpipe -- hence more air diverted into the engine = more power.
At the moment, it's set to 1bar (14.5psi). However, a 'safe' increase is around the +0.2bar mark, so I'd ideally shut the valve a bit more (wind it in with a spanner on the DD's hex nut) so that it boosts at no more than c.0.9bar (13psi). Check the peak boost level through the full rev range using a boost gauge (if one isn't already fitted).
