Default 350BHP TMIC??

Hi all, getting ready to go the nxt stage on my UK Turbo 2000 MY99.

I want to achieve 350BHP (ish) but want to use a top mount intercooler! As keeping the car looking standard on the outside. Does anyone know which will do the job????

Thanks in advance

Hi

A newage STI intercooler will be good for 400+BHP, there on Ebay for £150. You just need the newage brackets both sides and do some slight modifications to get it to fit.

Check out scoobypedia for a guide on how to do it,

Cheers Ben

Is that a direct replacement for the standard one fitted already (inc. dump valve fitment)?

Dump valve fitment would be different mate. You would need to use a newage DV.

Funny enough im looking to do this myself because i want the same standard look on the outside.

Instead of using a FMIC

Ive looked at them online and on ebay i would say measure your current one and make sure it fits.

I'm putting 402.5bhp on my OEM TMIC at the moment (with supporting mods).

I'm I right in saying tmic don't push air in, at 100mph I was told air goes right over the scoop. Is this true if so it means then it's sucking insted of forcing.
