You say it only rubs after the car has sat for 24/48 hrs. Does it go after a few aplications of the brake pedal? I often get a rubbing from mine when its been sat a while. Its rust on the disc. It sets in very quickly even over night if you was the car. Soon goes after two or three aplications of the brakes.

Brakes start to rust over after a few hours, so if your leaving it 1-2 days without it being driven it will make a grinding noise as there is rust on the serface of the disk!
A few pushes of the pedal will remove the surface rust and it should sound normal again
