cheers but the handbrake warning switch is on the handbrake bracket so not that

they run with the electric mirror wires along the sill then under the dash buts its not really clear where they go after that?

Nothing was plugged into it before you stipped out the car? Or if car was already stripped can anythin be plugged into it or is it a sealed unit?

never seen one but is it not the engine cut off for the turbo timer? thats if you have a turbo timer?

no as it was when the centre console was removed
nothing has ben removed and its a sealed unit

Where was your electric mirror control, centre console IIRC on a 99/00.

As it has 3 wires running to it and its a sealed unit, it must be some kind of feed back sensor for the ECU. What I dont know! In car air temp for air con (if or was fitted), Fuel cut off inertia, something along those lines. If you disconnect it and do a fault code check it might give you some idea.

makes sense,its looks like some sort of inertia device,there again it could have been part of the aircon which was removed a while ago
unfortunatley i wont be getting any fault codes as i'm running simtek now which i understand loses the diagnostic tool
one of my mates is going to check the workshop manual
