hi again,
just done a code check on my 95 sti and 45 came up, does anyone know what this is or can anyone point me in the direction of a code list, cheers phil.

Answer is both as the items are connected.
The actual sensor is the black block.

thankyou thankyou, ill just try the vac pipe off the mapsensor just to see if it stops the higher rev problem, if it does what should i do to solve the 45 code and the spluttering at higher revs, cheers phil.

As far as i know you have to replace the sensor as i think it's a sealed unit.

and if it still does the fuel cutting, put 1 of them rubbish boost things on to turn the boost down?

Dunno what the black sensors go for but there is a three port valve on ebay at a buy it now for £40.

thanks very much for all the help, just took off the vac pipe to the map sensor and it never spluttered, so im guessin i need a new one then, thanks again for the fast replies, phil.
