My first scooby.
hey chaps.
I'd better get this out of the way first, lost my job two months back and had to sell my skyline or lose the house. Sadly the car went. just picked up a cheap 97 impreza sport. its the 2litre non turbo ej20 jobby i think.
Its a good wee driver and i now have a few pennies to spare, and i was wondering what engines could be swapped into the car (ive done rb20 conversions on s13's before so im not shy with the old spanner).
Basically im new to this whole flat four game and i dont know what engine will go into what, or what running gear is suitable. i have looked at a few forums and they went on about engines with different coil pack positions.. but all the impreza engines look the same to me..
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers

Welcome to SN!
I think it is possible to drop in a turbo engine, gear box and drivetrain but it would probably be cheaper just to buy an import WRX and save and save yourself the hassle.
