Default Defi Fitting Guides?

Is there any guides on the web on 'How to' Fit the Defi's?

Just I was lucky enough to get some today (cheers gav), but don't know how to plumb them all in etc.

Thanks

STI Gnomes on a newage.

Oil Pressure, Oil Temp and Boost.

Think Oil Temp and Boost is quite easy. Where does the Pressure go?

Also wiring up.......obviously it needs a permanent DC Feed? The the orange wire is for when you turn the lights on, then there is another white wire....what is this for?

the pressure replaces the OE one under the alternator or you can use a t piece adaptor if you want to keep the oil pressure light on the dash (pointless if you have defis) the temp just replaces the blanking plate under the intercooler above No3 cylinder and take the boost from the vacuum pipe on the dumpvalve and remember to dress all threads in PTFE or similar thread sealer before tighting into place
you will have a permanent feed wire,an illumination wire,an ignition swtched wire and an earth cant remember which colour does what though from memory

Is it easy enough to get to the Pressure one? This is the only one I'm not too sure about.

Oh, and the power ones
Red - Perm live ?
Black - 0v ?
Orange - Illumination wire ?
White - Ignition Switched ?

the wiring sounds correct yes the oil pressure one is easy enough to do if you remove the alternator as it sits directly underneath next to the crank sensor. It can be done without taking the alternator off but its bloody awkward.

Cool, thanks a lot.

Is removing the Alternator a big job?

its 2 bolts and taking the belt off,10 minutes tops. You can actually remove the belt undo the nuts and swivel the alternator up and out of the way rather than taking it off altogether up to you really
