Headder tank pressure when cold?

Default Headder tank pressure when cold?

good morning all.

Just checking the levals this morning and opend the hedder tank the metal one by the i/c and it spat quite alot of water (1/3 of a pint maybe) out is this normal? the exspantion (tank plastic one by the rad) is just in the middle of low and high.....

did you open the header tank when engine was warmed up it will spew some out but not spitting it out and the level of your reservoir should be between min and max when cold but would reckon it will need topped up if you have lost some out of the header tank.

No the engine had only be running for about 30sec 1 minute ish? it all seems to have gone back to normal now.
Thats a nice legacy you have, i sold my B4 to get the Impreza but still miss the twin turbo set up, 1500-4500rpmlike a train 4500-5000take a deep breath 5000+ hear we goooo

mines is the gen 2 bd model with bilstein suspension not many saloons but plenty of estates almost bought one till this popped up and your right the lift when the second turbo kicks in makes it feel more than 280bhp as standard and glad things have gone back to normal can be temperamental when they want to be.
