need some help of the people in the know why is it that when ever i give my car a bit of thrash will it not start again shortly after turning the engine of but will start with a bump start its always cooled down and warmed up and its only done 4000 miles on a new engine rebuild by a good company its a 99 classic any help would be much appreciated

I think you need to explain more. Is it Cranking over and not fireing? or is it not cranking? As its starting on a push start its probably starter or battery related. Also check the main battery earths to chasis and engine block

 

hi thanks for the answers it is cranking over but just wont fire up will check the battery and earth terminals though
