Question Removing inner wheel arch / fender?

Hi guys,

ive decided to do my 1st engine "mod" by mod i mean remove the resonator from the resonator box to make it sound a bit more "agressive"

anyway, ive checked out some diagrams and the removal looks pretty easy, accept im not too sure how to remove the inner wheel arch to gain access to the fender well?

how easy is it to get to this?

Cheers guys!

You can undo some of the arch liner fasteners and get your hand in quite easily. You will need to jack the car up and take the front wheel off. Easier than removing the wing

Just the front endas far back as the self tapping nut next to the strut. You will then be able to access the second retaining nut inside the arch and pull the resonator out. I did mine 2 weeks ago

did u notice any difference? have you just left the pipe collecting air from the fender or have you got a pipe replacing the resonator back to the original air intake?
