I asked about the Kevlar ones when I bought mine, but was told I didn't need it (running 350bhp), and it would just eat in to my pulleys etc.

Eating into pulleys?

Worth the money imho. Stronger than OE and far more durable.

Under £140. Details/specs: https://www.scoobynet.com/group-buys...-cambelts.html

Use one on my own car

Just what I was told on the phone.....I wanted to buy one, as I thought they'd be stronger, but he said I'd be best off buying an OE standard one, and due to the Kelvar being stronger than the pulley material, it eats/wears away the pulley......
